*This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Support for mOpal is limited on 3rd party devices.
mOpal (or Opal Cloud) can not be legally used as a diagnostic viewer because of the method that has to be used to display these images on a mobile device. Mobile devices (iPad in particular) has a hard limit on the size of image that it is capable of displaying making them completely un suitable for viewing DICOM images that can very often be larger than 10 mb each. In order to display these images, a jpeg low resolution copy is made of the images when they are requested by a mOpal user and then displayed on the device. Even if the device (iPad, Android tablet or phone) were able to display the large file size, they still (yes even the iPad retina display) do not have the higher resolution required for diagnostic reading by the FDA. The FDA has very specific guidelines specific to diagnostic mobile applications that as of yet very few companies have been able or willing to meet. The companies that are, only offer mobile reading on devices that they have control over the hardware, installation and security of. mOpal cannot create nor display annotation tools.

**WORLDWIDE access includes OpalWeb license, however a certified IT personnel must configure Server PC at expense of customer
